"I honestly felt a little out of my depth, as I'm not a practitioner, but still feel I'm on the front line, as I'm our first point of contact on the phone and sometimes in our reception. I took away some great info and reminders of how we need to come across to people seeking help here." - An attendee at our November workshop
We are delighted to offer this workshop again, giving you the confidence to embed conversations about mental health into your everyday work.
As you'll see above, this workshop can give you essential skills that will support you to help people. This is a great option for staff training/induction and can be used to evidence your team's knowledge and skills in funding bids.
The workshop is open to volunteers and staff from VCSE organisations (such as charities, community groups and social enterprises) and health and social care colleagues working in Wakefield District.
