A workshop exploring how socially led organisations can engage corporate partners including corporate volunteering, donations, sponsorship and social value commitments.

This workshop is designed for charities, social enterprises, and community organisations that want to better understand how to engage with corporate partners and unlock income, resources, and long-term relationships with the private sector.

Corporate giving is evolving. Businesses are increasingly looking to demonstrate their social impact through volunteering, donations, sponsorship, and social value commitments. For social organisations, this creates a wide range of opportunities, but only if approached strategically and with a clear understanding of what businesses are looking for.

This session will help you explore:

  • the different ways corporate partnerships can work in practice
  • how to identify and approach the right partners
  • how to build mutually beneficial relationships that go beyond one-off transactions

We will also look at how to align your offer with corporate priorities, including Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) goals and social value frameworks, so you can position your organisation effectively and confidently.

This workshop is specific to Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise organisations. Staff, trustees and volunteers working at VCSE organisations in Wakefield District are welcomed to attend.
