The first in our Lunch and Learn Workshop Series!
This session will give you an overview of how public sector contracting works and what it involves in practice. We’ll explore the differences between contracts and grant funding, what commissioners are looking for, and the key expectations around delivery, compliance, and reporting.
The session will also help you consider whether contracting aligns with your organisation’s goals, capacity, and stage of development, as well as the potential opportunities and challenges involved. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a clearer understanding of public sector contracting and whether it could be a suitable route for your organisation.
This workshop is specific to Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise organisations. Staff, trustees and volunteers working at VCSE organisations in Wakefield District are welcomed to attend.
