Join us for our volunteer week celebration featuring a relaxed picnic and guided cathedral visit. This is a great opportunity to meet fellow volunteers, enjoy time together outdoors, and explore the history and architecture of Wakefield Cathedral.
We’re hosting a Volunteers’ Week celebration picnic to bring volunteers together and say thank you for all they do. Feel free to drop in and stay as long as you like.
What’s happening
- A relaxed picnic-style event with a buffet lunch provided
- A chance to meet and connect with other volunteers from different organisations
- Guided cathedral tours for those who’d like to explore the space and its history
- A unique opportunity to view peregrine falcons nesting at the cathedral using a telescope
