Netwalking was a breath of fresh air (in bo th ways) last year\, so we're excited to be doing it again in June for Connecting Wakefield. Get out for a refreshing walk with colleagues from other VCSE organisations\, big and small\, and make some new connections.
\n \nFree and open to an yone from a community group\, charity\, not-for-pr ofit\, voluntary organisation or social enterprise in Wakefield District.
\n \nThe plan is to walk around N ewmillerdam\, giving you plenty of time to chat an d meet new people in the group. You might like to work through an idea or discuss a problem - walkin g can really help with that.
\n \nThe walk will be led by the wonderful Rachel (Lead Communit y Mental Health Builder and part of our Adviser Te am at Nova) who can tell you a bit about Move More \, the big local project about getting people acti ve\, which should have an update on by June.
\n \nThe walk will start at 9.30am from Newmille rdam main car park and lasts for around 1 hour. It 's a circular route around the lake. After this\, we’ll head to Lakeside Creative Arts Centre for re freshments and more time to network. We'll be usin g the room upstairs.
